about

DJ Justin Robertson played this!

www.mixcloud.com/sohoradio/justin-robertsons-temple-of-wonders-10012024/

Oddly eastern/middle eastern in feel. Possibly came from Charanjit Singh's Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat, but sounds more Turkish.
It occurred to me afterwards that there's a hint of Dick Dale's Misirlou about it.

Beats: Korg Volca Beats and Kick, Monotribe, Vermona Kick Lancet mostly double-tracked and processed via various effects.

Additional electronic percussion from Boss Dr. Pad iii and Roland SPD Percussion pad.

Synths: Yamaha PS2, Casio MT100, Korg Monologue, Korg Microkorg, Waldorf Streichfett, Roland SE02.

Also, Early Learning Centre keyboard.

Fender Musicmaster bass, Fender Mustang guitar (bowed).

about

Synthetic Villains Lancaster, UK

Instrumental, mostly electronic music.

From the "experimental, slightly off-kilter" (Bandcamp New & Notable) synth-pop of the debut album to the "pulsing Berlin School synths" (Electronic Sound Magazine) of the latest albums, SV albums explore drones, repetitions, textures and riffs.

The 3rd album is over on Werra Foxma's Sub Club.
